CalculatorUSA App (calculatorusaapp.com) is an independent educational publisher of free US mortgage, loan, paycheck, savings, debt, and everyday math calculators. We are not a bank, mortgage broker, CPA, tax preparer, fiduciary, or government agency.
Why this site exists
People often need a clear worksheet before they talk to a lender, compare a Loan Estimate, or sanity-check a paycheck. Our goal is to make the underlying math transparent — with labeled inputs, documented methods, and honest limits — so you can organize numbers and ask better questions of professionals and official tools.
What we publish
- 41 curated calculators (hand-tuned core set for clarity and quality) built on shared pure engines tested in the browser
- Guides that explain shopping paths (P&I vs PITI, DTI, FICA orientation, debt payoff math, Loan Estimate checklists)
- A public methodology page with evidence tiers and source orientation (IRS, CFPB, HUD, SSA, and related materials)
How we maintain accuracy
- Core formulas are implemented as pure functions with unit tests for standard identities (amortization, tip math, DTI, FICA orientation, and similar).
- Each engine is registered with a method name, scope, limitations, and public reference links where applicable.
- Defaults (rates, MIP/PMI sketches, wage bases) are examples for orientation — not live statutory lookups. Users should replace them with current official figures.
